There are no "wet" spots in my yard since the entire thing is a downhill slope. Even right next to my pond the soil gets dry (the pond has a liner).

I'd be willing to give it another try, but I just don't think I can give it the conditions it wants.

Alan, get some more liner and put in a bog garden. That should provided you with a couple dozen Blog posts.

Believe me I've thought about it. I may be able to put a small one in, but I just don't think there would be enough space to make me happy. Plus I'd have a lot of tree roots in the way.
