Well, more like Needville.
I've been selling my families extra chicken eggs (a dozen a week) to a friend. My friend runs a small coffee shop, and has decided to expand to a larger location where he is going to start a small breakfast and lunch service. He talked me into raising eggs for him, so our flock went from 4 chickens last week to 80 chickens this week.
My wife and I also both went through the Texas Master Gardener program, and my wife went through the advanced vegetable specialist training, so along with the chickens we are going to start growing veggies to include with another friend's CSA program. Our friend has filled up all of the shares in her CSA, and still has people on her waiting list wanting to join, so we are going to help her expand her CSA to cover everyone who wants in.
I guess the bamboo farm that I was dreaming about will stay on the back burner for a while longer.
It has been a busy couple of weeks, and I'm guessing it isn't going to slow down any time soon. It will hopefully be a fun experience for my family either boom or (more likely) bust.
Houston, we have a farm...

That sounds like a fun thing to do, Mantis! If you raise enough chickens you can sell the eggs and have free boo fertilizer to boot! Hopefully the boo farm works out for you some day too--I have those visions in my head as well
God Bless,

I keep trying to envision the size of the coop you must have build on your driveway this time...
