Bamboo in Nashville

So now that I am in Nashville I have not found a single grove of bamboo you would think with its aggressive growth and being impossible to control and kill it would be everywhere down south. I see more boo in pa than here what gives. And I am odiously kidding about not being able to control it. I would not have over 20 species planted around my house if that was the case.
