Post subject:  Re: Have: P. aureosulcata Aureocaulis, S. yashadake Kimmei,

Yah, but the Ps. longs are all still in 25 gallon pots! I may bust open one this year though. They are much happier here in the shade than in full sun, so I can probably get away with a summer shade splitting.

I got the Lama Temple as a favor from Woody, a guy that works for Ned. They got a bunch of it this year, and had a few 'not for sale plants' left over after dividing. It was a short stubby plant, but Woody said that the rhizomes were really good. He talked Ned into selling it to me. So I brought it home and lo, it has a huge shoot on it now. It helps to have the inside track out there in North Plains  Except I always spend more there than I intend to  , so I have to ration my trips out there :( .

The guy that I got the Borrindas and Fargesias from said he spends too much there too. He buys the really exotic and spendy rare stuff from Ned and plants it up at his place. Then he digs and divides it 2 years later, and sells some of them off to pay for his 'bamboo addiction'.
