Narrow digging window

I am suspicious that our stupid consistently cold but not COLD winter will soon suddenly slam shut which means that I'll have a very narrow window to mow, feed, dig bamboo. I think I'll go ahead and empty the greenhouse today, mow and perhaps feed everything so that I can devote the next 2 weekends to any digging/grove cleanup that is needed. Sooooo...if anyone is looking for anything specific now is the time to see if I can dig it. Will trade or sell cheap'ish if you don't have attractive trade plants. Can for sure dig the following:

I would plan on digging 'sods' around 10"x10" or slightly larger to fit my 10x12x48 boxes but will trim the box height down to minimize shipping.

These will ship in the shorter boxes:

Sasaella ramosa
Pl argenteostriatus
Sasa megalophylla
Sasa nipponica
Pl gauntletii
Pl chino 'Murakamianus'
Sasaella bitchuensis
Sasaella masomuneana - 2, perhaps 3 forms not sure if the gold stripe can be dug
Shibataea lancifolia
Pl viridistriatus

Full size boxes for these tall guys:

Indo longiaritus
I latifolius - I think it is the solidus form
Sasa tsuboiana
Sasa oshidensis
Shibataea kumasaca/chinensis
Phy hispida
Sasa palmata

I am sure there are other candidates, Phy varioauriculata probably can dig a couple doubtful on any other imports but the 2 listed here. Keep in mind that some of the shrubby guys will have sad looking leaves but everything will start shooting in 2-3 weeks so they'll quickly look fresh.

Hi Brad.

I plan to do an experiment. I have a bag of milorganite, a bag of scott's organic choice, and homemade compost. I have five bisettii plants so will give each a different treatment (with two controls). I have 3 harbin inversas, so I'll give two of them treatments.

My only fear is that feeding them now might cause them to shoot early. Is there any danger in that?
