Southern Indiana.
My Bamboo List.
The legal issues that will arise when the undead walk the earth are legion, and addressing them all is well beyond what could reasonably be accomplished in this brief Essay. Indeed, a complete treatment of the tax issues alone would require several volumes.

Better picture of the shoots. Plus the shoots are larger and showing a bit of color.
As a side note, there are four other plants in the picture. Can you name them?

RE: Melocanna baccifera
I get the feeling from your picture that you like variegation in plants?

Three of the plants in the photo are not variegated. Of the two that are, one I am keeping for a friend and the other was a rescue from a deserted house. The rescue also included Aloe vera, Purple Inch Plant, Wandering Jew and a variegated Wandering Jew.Roy wrote:I get the feeling from your picture that you like variegation in plants?

Well it must be me then. My eye is attracted to variegation. Especially green and white.foxd wrote:Three of the plants in the photo are not variegated. RE: Melocanna baccifera
Actually I don't think variegation is quite the right word for the one Wandering Jew. More of a reddish and silver coloration to the leaves and stems. http://www.denverplants.com/foliage/html/jewzeb.htm

I was using this definition from Merrium-Webster:
variegated: having discrete markings of different colors <variegated>
But I don't see what I call a "wandering jew" in your picture, and my of a "wandering jew" plant matches your link. I do see what I call a variegated spider plant behind your bamboo seedling pot. In the lower right corner of your picture there is a variegated leafed plant. The stems (branches) look to be of a woody plant and unlike the succulent stems of a "wandering jew".

RE: Melocanna baccifera
Correct, there is no Wandering Jew in the picture. Also correct, there are two variegated Spider Plants in the background.
A clue to the identity of the variegated leafed tree is that Michael Moore ran one for a political office.
As for one of the other plants, I will leave a clue elsewhere on this board.
