It could be aureosulcata, leaves look like might be phyllosachys. It is hard to ID these in their inmature form. And sometimes culms are yellow or greener due to growing conditions.
If you get a picture of new shoots when they happen, it will be easier to get definitive ID.

2 to 3 branches per node scream Phyllostachys. Culm seems to be yellow from the beginning, I don't see any green culm inside. Is culm smooth or rough surfaced? It should start shooting soon and perhaps ID will be possible. Most likely it will have to grow a few bits more before you can get correct ID.
Re: What type is this please ID help
But what type Phyllostachys is it please you referring to ? got a lager bamboo of the same kind in a nigger pot one which is taller but the culm is greener . The culms never seem to be getting thick for some reason its thin ad a pencil , It's the same species. I will get a photo tomorrow perhaps . The culms are smooth and has yellow and also straight light green culms with three nodes in each culms. The culms are thin . This is what puzzles me to identify this type. Here's another pic sort of close up. I will get some more pics tomorrow of the shoots if any and close ups.

It looks like a Fargesia species to me. The leaves look big and shiny perhaps its fargesia robusta 'wolong' or maybe just the 'pingwu' cultivar?

The color of the new culm sheath will help ID what species of Pyllostacys, although not necessarily the variety. Not sure I have seen fargesia culms upsize that fast.

Looking at those nodes with much, much more than just a couple of branches, I think Phyllostachys can be ruled out.
Leaves do look fargesia-like. If it indeed is any of Fargesia bamboos, it should start shooting very shortly. They are usually first to poke out.

Hard to tell with that picture quality. Shoots look like clumping bamboo, could be fargesia, but I'm not sure if culms can get that yellow in short period.

Try to get a couple of focused pictures of the new shoots as they come up in the next couple days. Sometimes putting a piece of paper behind shoot helps, as the auto focus on some cameras mess things up.

It could be Fargesia Denudata. They don't have fuzzy shoots and they do appear in light purple or pink color and turn darker purple and then green.
What puzzles me is, how fast did those culms get so yellow. It seems that in less than a year which is fascinating. My 'Lancaster' got yellow in 2 growing seasons. Leaves also seem to be a bit too large for Denudata.
To be sure, make some photos of developing shoots when they grow, you can take a photo of the deatail of branching around the node, foliage... Denudata has small leaves. Many of them! With whole bunch of branches. Very beautiful bamboo.

I am thinking F denudata as well. After Tarzanas's post, I took a look at mine. The stick standing in plant is a 3 ft ruler. Although my shoots aren't really up, I dug up a couple to look at. Shoot is about diameter of pencil.
