New website changes

Post by fredgpops »

Just noticed the change in the website. Looks good but looks like the photo entry site has been zapped.

That was one of the mods that I wrote. I will try and convert the old mods to the new extension format and style as fast as possible. I also found a chat extension that I will install tomorrow.

Thank You,
Bill

Thanks for the info. One flaw in the photo site is the inability to correct errors. I have screwed up a few times but was unable to make a correction.
Thanks for all your work over the years on the bambooweb website. Rgds Fred

The "Other bamboo related Photos" entry section seems to be there, but the "Bamboo Photos" section isn't working.

The site no longer remembers me -- I have to login each time I visit. It's not a big problem and is probably related to increased security, but thought I'd mention it in case it's supposed to be working as it did before.

Any input on whether the Bamboo Photos section will be restored? If not what happens to all the existing photos? Can they be transferred to the ABS site? Rgds Fred

I am trying to get the photo and other database issue fixed but I am alo trying to stop the spam on the forum as a temporary condition I am going to block new people from registering until I can find a solution.

As for having to re log in each time. Will clearing the cookies help?

The information is still in the database but I have to recreate the page to display it.
Sorry I am so slow in getting everything converted to the new format.

No worries mate! I just found that species list tool super useful. Glad to hear it will return.
