Bambusa Textilis "albostriata" flowering

I just have one Bambusa Textilis "albostriata", and it is flowering. Anyone else have one flowering? I don't think it is stress induced... but, you never know.

Ours flowered this year and last.....also heard of at least a couple that were flowering in Florida last year.

How is your bamboo doing with the flowering? Is it in decline? I have another bamboo that flowers quite a bit every year... but, that doesn't seem to affect the bamboo at all. The one that flowers every year is Schizostachyum Brachycladum.

Doesn't seem to have slowed it down.....lots of new, taller shoots this year.
